We are a small founding team of engineers and designers building rest infrastructure for a continent that has none. The work is unusually physical, unusually visible, and mostly still ahead of us.

The disciplines we are building
We do not always have a vacancy open in each of these. We will always read a good speculative application against them.
Mechanical and structural engineering
Parametric assemblies in SolidWorks, FEA on frames and roofs, and the discipline to keep a drawing and a built pod identical. You will own parts from model to fabrication.
Industrial and interior design
The berth, the latch, the light. Everything a tired person touches at two in the morning without reading an instruction.
Acoustics
Specifying dampening from measurement in real environments, then proving it on built units rather than trusting a material datasheet.
Manufacturing and supply chain
Standing up production in Nigeria: tooling, suppliers, quality, and the unglamorous work of making a part available in a week rather than a quarter.
Field operations
Surveys, installs and servicing. You will spend real time in wards, terminals and church halls, and what you learn there sets what we build next.
Civic partnerships
Getting Havens sited with authorities, operators and relief agencies. Long conversations, real patience, enormous leverage when they land.

How we hire

Send us work, not a cover letter
Drawings, a model, a build, a deployment you ran, a paper you wrote. We would rather see one thing you made than three paragraphs about your strengths.

One conversation about the work
A technical discussion with the people you would be working beside, about a real problem we currently have. No puzzles unrelated to the job.
- 03
A paid exercise, if it helps
Where a decision is genuinely close we will pay you for a short, scoped piece of work. We do not ask for free labour.
- 04
A decision, quickly
Two weeks end to end is what we aim for, and we tell you either way. Silence is not an answer we give.
